Claudia’s Steakhouse started in Washington, D.C. three blocks from the White House. Our 1501 K Street flagship location has 7.600 sq. ft. of indoor space and is a full service restaurant & caterer for Washington’s high-end professional clientele. Established in 2013, ARG and Claudia’s operate full service restaurants and catering kitchens specializing in full-service catering and event planning for events in the DC metropolitan area.
The essence of Claudia’s is rooted in Ms. Rivas’ family tree; she comes from a family of chefs. Claudia Rivas grew up in El Salvador and loved cooking with her grandmother, “Julia Aguilar” who worked as a talented chef for an Argentinean family while living in Puerto Rico. In addition, Ms. Rivas’ cuisine specialties have incorporated many cultural influences from other family chefs from El Salvador, Peru and Spain. These experiences, coupled with four generations of tradition and an unbridled passion for cooking, have grown to create the finest Latin American cuisine available.
